We place buoy marks at 3 different increments on the spool. Each mark has a loop to attach a buoy. All spools come with a 250lb wind-on leader. We offer two buoy spools with 3 marks each: High current (over 2 knots) 1,400ft \/ 1,600ft \/ 1,800ft Low current (under 2 knots) 1,000ft \/ 1,300ft \/ 1,600ft. On either end of the mini wind-on, we attach our 80lb braid to two Dacron loops, one on each end. Yes, it is very time consuming to assemble! All buoy spools have 1,650 yards of 80lb Hi Vis braid.
